The Full Story

Born and raised in Hebron, ND, I have always enjoyed being active and around people. After graduating high school, I moved to Sheridan, WY on a rodeo scholarship and graduated with an associate’s degree in 2007. Upon leaving Sheridan, I transferred to North Dakota State University to continue rodeoing for the Bison. During my last year at NDSU, I interned and worked for a financial advisor and graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

After graduation, I decided to move back to the western part of the state and worked for a bank for a short period of time before starting my career with New York Life. I made the decision to start doing business as Bauman Financial and opened the Linton office in 2016. As we continue to grow, we tailor our approach for financial strategies by providing straight forward guidance that is not product focused, but instead, has your best interest at heart. Once we are clear regarding the areas of your financial strategies that resonate with you and have a clear direction, we coordinate the execution of the agreed upon path.

I met my husband, Wayde, my senior year of college and after dating for 5 years, we were married in Medora in the fall of 2014. Our family grew with our first son, Britt, in November of 2018 and again in June of 2021 with my second son, Bear. We live on a ranch by Linton, ND and love to spend time as a family riding horse, going to rodeos, having homemade popcorn with a good movie, hosting friends and family, and enjoying anything grilled by Wayde. We also travel to many sporting events both locally for the Linton Lions and at the collegiate level to watch our nieces and nephews, but also to watch our alumni NDSU Bison.
